base: Make Up For Ever All Mat primer + Nu Skin's Nu Colour tinted moisturizer + Chanel Purete Mat powder

eyes: MAC Fluidline in Blactrack (also used for tightlining) + eyeshadows from the Urban Decay NAKED palette (Naked as base, Buck on the crease, Virgin as highlighter & Creep to act as a shadow cast by the lashes) + false lashes from Ardelle + MAC eye liner

brows: MAC eyeshadow in Espresso + MAC brow set in Beguile

cheeks: Make Up For Ever's Sculpting Kit in #3 for contouring + Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer in #2 + NARS blush in Orgasm

lips: Rebel by MAC

I used the FIX styling stick from Bench (put on LOTS of it). I gave away all of my good styling wax after saying goodbye to the faux-hawk. I sort of regret doing that now since I'm liking this pulled-back look! Washing my hair after the event was sort of a pain in the ass. Forgot that the trick is to put on shampoo on dry hair first, wash, shampoo again and then put on tons of conditioner.

blazer & shoes from Zara, dress from SM, necklace & rings from Koket

This was the outfit I hastily put on for the 15th birthday of Cosmo Philippines. For my makeup, I focused on big lashes and a bold lip since I couldn't do anything fussy with my eyes. I ripped my hazel contacts yesterday and I had to go for grey ones since the optical shop only had that color for my grade. I felt like my whole face would be too colorful if I placed on too much eye shadow.

I'm supposedly on a self-imposed house arrest this month so I've been evading all forms of events, but I'm glad I made last night an exception since I got to see a lot of my friends!

mexican + american + japanese

Just some photos from restaurants I've visited with the family this week

Oralé (the Fort Strip)

fish tacos

Burgoo (Powerplant Mall/Rockwell)

My sister's phone + new mic for vlogs/music videos. It's easier to connect that mic to the micro 4/3s cameras/DSLRs we have

Jozu Kin (Burgos Circle)

really liked this- spicy tuna with Japanese mayo

It's almost 5 AM, I'm really hungry and can't seem to sleep even after taking 2 melatonin tablets and watching 3 movies on DVD (watching TV bores me to death, supposedly). No idea why I like torturing my soul by posting about food at the state I'm in but I figured I needed something different on my blog at the moment.

ORALÉ- where we took Gigi for her birthday last Wednesday. I had 1/3 of the fish burrito and a fish taco. I remember not wanting to eat there again because the portions were just soooo huge! Okay, the food was too good for words but I am not trying out more than 1 dish on my next visit. I'm sticking to one and sharing it with a friend (experienced the worst food coma that day). For a place with really big servings, their stuff's priced really well. It's a good place to head to when you're carbo-loading. I didn't get to take photos since everyone attacked as soon as the plates reached the table. Not a good idea to hold out on lunch til 3:30 PM on a busy sched & super sunny day.

BURGOO- Mum took us there before watching the Avengers for the 2nd time but I didn't eat a thing. Was too full so I had to resort to taking photos and posting random things on Instagram. My siblings have been daring me to post stupid things (like a photo with 4 pictures of my face) just to see if people would actually like it. I now conclude that people will like anything on Instagram as long as you pretend to be serious about posting them.

JOZU KIN- Where I had lunch with mum last Friday while taking a breather from the construction going on at my flat. Possibly the best Japanese joint I've been to this month. The food's also cheaper than most Jap restos I frequent.

the 3rd Bloggers United Bazaar

Bloggers United Strikes Three!

Third time’s the charm for the most anticipated fashion bloggers event in the country!

Bloggers United is staging their third bloggers bazaar this June 2 at the Grandview Events Place to once again gather Manila’s top fashion bloggers in one single venue outside of the World Wide Web. After holding two successful events last year, Bloggers United has easily become one of the most anticipated affairs for both fashion bloggers and readers in the metro.  More than just a bazaar, Bloggers United also partners with charitable groups to use and channel their influence in a positive manner.

Through the overwhelming power of social media and blogs in today's generation, the previous Bloggers United events have successfully joined forces with top fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Kryz Uy and many more to inspire their followers and to raise funds for various beneficiaries,  namely KIDS Foundation and GMA Kapuso Foundation. This time around, the event will benefit Operation Smile Philippines.

The event gets better and better every time! To make Bloggers United 3 even more momentous, top Indonesian fashion blogger Anastacia Siantar of The Brown Platform will also be selling alongside Cebu fashion bloggers and our very own top celebrities Divine Lee & Sarah Meier.

So, if you love blog-reading and blog-hopping, Bloggers United is sure to be the perfect end-of-summer bazaar for you. Not only will you be able to bump elbows with your favorite bloggers at the event, but you will also be able to snag some of their own stylish statement pieces as they open their closets to sell to the public. Stay-up-to-date with the biggest gathering of bloggers by following us on Twitter (twitter.com/bloggers_united) and Facebook (facebook.com/bloggersunitedph), and bookmarking our official webpage (bloggersunited.org).

dodging dourness

top & necklace from Memo

oh yesss, the awkward flamingo pose

Trying to come up with more fun work ensembles can be pretty challenging when the temperatures are rising... Thankfully this loose top & super thin one-piece that I transformed into pants kept me from going nuts because of the heat.

Walking around and keeping an eye on the construction at the Fort from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM is not an ideal schedule during the summer, but I'm excited to finally settle in my new flat! Loner status upgraded to 150%.
