UP EcoSoc launch

The launch was held at the Secret Fresh Gallery at Ronac last September 1. We spent an hour waiting for it to start so the usual blogger activities ensued-- we snapped photos of the cute toys all around the first floor and took outfit shots for each other...

I was the only one who didn't ask for Ira to take my outfit photos since I hated my getup and, well... We all know I'm not a religious outfit-poster on my blog.

We wanted to take group shots with that orange cow..

but realized we'd covered it on all our photos. Oh well, nice spot lights make for slightly-dramatic shots.

The whole store has those sort of things that would make you want to put up shelves around your place, just to fill them with ~~expensive~~ toys.

We were asked to speak when we got introduced as ambassadors... Will never get used to my face being flashed on a big wall. Ew.

We basically spent the whole night sippin on spiked Kool Aid and munching on cheese sticks... I can't believe I managed to visit my old home after that to bake for Skinny Sweets!

We've been working with the UP Economic Society for their month-long event and they've chosen me to be an ambassador for music and [Interior] design. I'm so grateful to be included in the roster and had a blast with them during our photo shoot a few weeks ago. The anniversary party/main event will be on September 22 at the open space beside Mercato Centrale but they have the whole month of September filled with different activities... Hope to see you guys on the 22nd!

Riz and I felt so blessed to be part of the lineup for the TOMS Good Folk Fest that happened last August 24 at Mercato. We were told that we were going to be the last band to play and that scared us a bit. Later that night I was starting to feel really nervous since we found out that the other bands were FULL BANDS. The crowd that stayed til our set at 12:30 AM pumped us up, and we just tried to enjoy the moment when we started playing. Ended up having a blast at this gig! We saw so many familiar faces and we were so happy with the feedback about our performance. Thank you to the team and to TOMS for putting up a great event!

First half of August 2012

It's that time of the month wherein I post a ton of uncategorized photos in one entry...

Got to see Benny Benassi at Republiq thanks to Globe Tattoo. I can safely say that his set was the best I've ever experienced at Republiq. Total. Musical. High. I'm not even saying that because of the alcy-- I was perfectly sober & had to stay that way for my 9AM class the next day. Pia might've been annoyed at me for saying "THIS IS AWESOME" the entire night, but we ended up talking about how amazing the music was when she slept over at my place. This was the week I had gotten used to sleeping for just 1 to 2 hours per night because of all the... events.

I have about 5 panels of full-length mirrors at my flat and everyone seems to like the one near my multi-level table. Cheyser's wearing my studded Zara boots & surprisingly she managed to fit her 6.5 feet into my 8.5 booties.

I am now a part of the Nail It! family and I feel so lucky! Love them for being quick and for always doing a neat job on my nails. The only way you can tell if I'm going through a tough time is when I haven't had my nails done in a while.

Also got my makeup done by Kris Bacani for a photoshoot. Glossy lips and eyes, yes? I find that I always get chosen for the strong lip look during shoots. The challenging ones for me are the more demure/feminine/smiley looks. *cringe*

Like any other girl, I seem to be obsessed with taking photos of my food before diving in... I've been trying to practice only eating real, good food when I eat out...

Sort of went crazy over the unlimited sashimi at Kat & Brian's wedding... This is a photo from the buffet, I couldn't hoard the entire supply to my table without being noticed. Boo.

Lounging while on a True Blood marathon. I am slowly filling up those shelves & trying to test my design. I sure hope the screws hold up. They're made of wood & stainless steel.
